Recognized as an Exemplary school district, Sunnyvale ISD has met all four of the following TEA criteria: TAKS (TM) Test Passing - At least 90% of all students must pass the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) test overall and on each of five subsections; SDAA II Test Passing - At least 90% of all students must pass the State-Developed Alternative Assessment II (SDAA II) test; Completion Rate - At least 95% of all students, must either have completed or are continuing their education four years after entering high; Dropout Rate - No more than 2% of all students.
